The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog is a popular sentence that uses all the letters in the English alphabet, a phrase called a pangram! A famous and concise sentence that we often see it in font shops, this little film is one of the best imaginings yet! I hope this becomes a series, imagine other pangrams - 'Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs' and 'How quickly daft jumping zebras vex'....
The moving, animated fonts are delightful and it's great to see such consideration given to bringing typographic shapes into playful physical forms. This is also great inspiration for an upcoming installation piece!

So we can finally post these images after sending Godfrey Hirst and Feltex artwork to print, they look beautiful printed! Home Style you really need these images! This was a whirl wind photography shoot in which we visited The Block NZ and photographed the interior spaces. On pack down the lense cap in my back pocket needed a wipe down! Yip, we really worked hard and fast, perhaps its the nature of such a production, every person on site is pushed to tight schedules.
Whilst not being an avid follower and have to admit to quickly watching snippets of episodes online the day before we were blown away at the styling of some of the spaces, especially when considering the essence of time and TV personalities are always in question.
Different personalities certainly created different styles and it was fascinating to experience the expressions and feels in each house.

"The mind delights in surprise," and in the studio we are always looking for new ways to stay inspired. Whether it is new vinyl, magazine subscriptions or our favourite Not Another Bill. Each month they team up with an artist or designer to send you a little surprise in the post! This month we were super excited to find that NAB have teamed up with Tom Dixon to create the ultimate brass desk set The Golden Rule' and 'The Clip'. Be sure to check it out.

This is a gorgeous singer sewn A5 booklet for a great client launching their new colour collection. The booklet features B&F Ice Gold paper which adds a subtle shimmering finish to selected colour feature papers, love this stock! The books mixed stock was a perfect touch to complement the collections story of indulgence and desire; an understated tactility which only the allure of print could convey.
We see the three fold cover as a great resource for new presentations and as a useful quick reference guide when specifying the product. The booklet is full of rich interior images which we styled and photographed especially for this product launch. We were inspired by colour matched natural images and the booklet is now a beautiful flowing gradient of colours and a visually compelling and sensual story. So on that note, just in the nick of time for our Tuesday post, happy Tuesday!

Sometimes when your on the hunt for something new it pays to look back at the classics! The Bodoni font family created by Giambattista Bodoni in 1798 was my classic today and definitely still a cut above the rest for structure and form!
What are your favourite numerical fonts? Is there anyone out there designing the numbers with the same amount of care as the letters? Let us know.
