2014 Eucalyptus v0.02

Eucalyptus is a photography styling favourite which frequents our frames. On a return drive from Taupo, this tree planting and its silvery sea-glass hues were a welcomed visual treat. Who can pass up stopping to capture a moment of glistening leaves!

Bioluminescence

Bioluminescence

This weekend was a weekend for adventures and celebrations culminating in an amazing Bioluminescent light show. This awe inspiring experience is created by the night-time surface migration of zooplankton. After sunset miniature crustaceans such as copepods and other zooplankton rise to the surface from depths that can exceed 100 metres. Swimming at night you can be surrounded by these creatures and as you agitate the water you can watch it come to life with a magical display of tiny glowing lights.
